This will be an opportunity for members and those interested in patent law to get together in an informal setting to examine the current needs of the Patent Agent community in Georgia.

Yuri heads the Intellectual Property practice group at Founders Legal. A practice he co-founded at the Atlanta Tech Village – the nation’s fourth largest incubator. By the nominations of colleagues that have worked with him over the past several years, Yuri was selected to the 2021 and 2020 Super “Patent” Lawyer Lists, an award that is given to just 2.5% of attorneys. His recognition relates to his work in securing multi-million dollar patents for his clients – patents that have been tested through USPTO examination, re-examination and litigation. Yuri also strives to use his first-hand knowledge of the legal industry to develop innovative methods to improve the practice of law, and has been recognized as a player in the law practice technology field.

Al Founded Atlanta Patent Services (APS) to provide local, expert research to lawyers, companies, and entrepreneurs in the Southeast and beyond. In 2020 Founder’s Legal and APS partnered to tightly integrate search and legal, to optimize the critical initial stages of patent prosecution and lay the groundwork for successful execution.

Tariq Najee-ullah is an entrepreneur committed to making the world a better place. Tariq holds a Master of Arts from Georgetown University, a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics from Morehouse College. Tariq uses is professional and educational experiences to bring a broader perspective to his patent practice.

Brian Genco is an independently motivated patent agent and former patent examiner with a proven track record of prosecuting patent applications globally and advocating for robust patent rights on behalf of his clients. From his foundation as an electrical engineer, he is passionate about learning new technologies and collaborating with engineers and scientists to identify, expand, and protect the inventions they develop.
Brian previously served as an in-house patent agent at The Coca-Cola Company where he managed the development and maintenance of the global equipment patent portfolio. He also gained experience in managing a global design patent portfolio.
