About Carter Gaines
Carter Gaines is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Group. His practice includes new business formation, technology transactions, capital raising, and mergers and acquisitions, among other commercial and transactional matters.
Prior to joining Founders Legal, Carter served as in-house counsel for a global television streaming platform. He worked across an international team and handled intellectual property, media, and technology transactions with partners ranging from major Hollywood studios to
startup technology companies.
Carter is a graduate of the Emory University School of Law and Clemson University. Before attending law school, he worked as a talent agent where he helped facilitate celebrity endorsement deals and speaking engagements.
