Elizabeth Jones is an experienced former AmLaw 100 and in-house intellectual property attorney with a proven record in strategic management of brand portfolios. She joined the Founders Legal team in August 2024 with a core practice focused on global intellectual property strategy, including, copyright and trademark clearance, protection, and enforcement, along with licensing, marketing, social media, and general transactional IP counseling.

Beth has amassed significant experience counseling Fortune 500 food, beverage, consumer goods, entertainment, and technology clients. Throughout her career, she developed a comprehensive understanding of intellectual property law through academic study and practical application in big law and in-house. Beth successfully navigated diverse clients through global trademark registrations, copyright and trademark enforcement, and trade secret protection strategies while counseling clients in risk assessment. Beth has managed countless matters in the USPTO and Trademark Trial & Appeal Board and worked with clients to avoid costly federal litigation by leveraging online enforcement through DMCA and brand rights enforcement platforms.

As a former in-house counsel, Beth is uniquely positioned to appreciate her clients’ need for smart, goal-oriented, and cost-effective legal solutions. Beth’s strength is her ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions that align with business objectives.  Beth graduated from New England Law with a Juris Doctorate and from The University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Speech Communications.

Beth champions causes such as Georgia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Association. She supports local sports teams such as the Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, and Atlanta United.
