About Jason

Jason Burg serves as Senior Corporate Counsel at Founders Legal, bringing a wealth of in-house legal experience in complex commercial transactions, enterprise technology agreements, and regulatory compliance across fast-paced, innovation-driven industries.

Over the course of his career, Jason has held key legal roles at NTT Data, Fiserv, Cyxtera, DISH Network, and Chevron, where he has led the negotiation and structuring of hyperscale and enterprise-level SaaS, licensing, and strategic partnership agreements. His work has supported companies operating in highly regulated, technology-intensive environments. Jason is known for delivering clear, actionable legal guidance that aligns seamlessly with business and IT priorities—combining legal precision with a strong client-focused approach.

Jason earned his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law, where he served as president of the university’s chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. He also gained valuable experience as a student law clerk for the Honorable Stephen D. Gerling of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of New York, and as a student attorney with the Syracuse University Transactional Law Clinic, where he advised and organized not-for-profit corporations.

He also holds a B.A. in Communications with honors, with a minor in advertising, from Western Michigan University.
