Method And System For Cloud Funding Using A Web Based Social Network
A social media website which allocates points to participants for a variety of activities by either the participant or by others, who may be other participants. Allocation of points results in rankings of participants, wherein higher ranked participants are allocated more opportunities for accumulating advertising revenue. Ads placed throughout the system’s various pages may have their potential conversion value ascribed to designated groups or persons, as the ranked participant desires. Retained revenues may be used by a participant to purchase goods from participating vendors.
The claimed invention is directed to an abstract idea without significantly more. The claims are directed to a concept of managing commercial interactions including advertising, marketing or sales affiliate compensation activities based on affiliate participation in activities that contribute to increased revenue of web pages that can be classified as Certain Methods of Organizing Human Activity. The additional limitations of the claimed subject matter amount to no more than generic computer functions that merely add the words “apply it” with the judicial exception.
The use of an embedded affiliate code associated with the user to direct payment to the affiliate is not a reduction of an abstract idea. There is no real world method this system could be applied on without using a computer system as a machine performing specific functions that only this computer system can implement.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING OFFERS FOR AUTOMATED RETAIL MACHINES VIA MOBILE DEVICES
A mobile device with a display, processor(s), and memory: identifies a retail machine configured for wireless communications based on broadcasted information transmitted by the retail machine and including an identifier corresponding to the retail machine; transmits the identifier to a server and receives from the server an electronic communication including a promotional offer for products or services offered by the retail machine; displays the promotional offer; detects selection of a promotional offer; receives a notification from the retail machine that a product or service was provided by the retail machine for a user of the mobile device; transmits confirmation information associated with the notification to the server, receives promotion validation information from the server indicating validation of the promotional offer; and based on the promotion validation information, displays information confirming application of the promotional offer.
The claims recite displaying offers and validating offers that are directed to advertising and marketing which is directed to certain methods of organizing human activity. The applicant has not shown or demonstrated “integration into a practical application” under step 2A. Specifically, the applicant is merely adding instructions to implement an abstract idea. The additional elements of the claims recite generic computer functions that are well-understood, routine and conventional to activities known in the industry. The display, communications unit, one or more processors, mobile device, retail machine and memory amount to no more than implementing the idea with a computerized system.
The examiner suggested during the interview that the 101 discussion should focus on elements showing an improvement to technology. Claims have been amended to describe how the user confirmation information is obtained. The ordered combination of the claims improves on automatic retail machine technology by providing a communication link both between the mobile device and a server that hosts the promotions.
SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING PROOF AND ATTESTATION SERVICES FOR CLAIM VERIFICATION
Embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods, and computer storage media directed to a proof and attestation service that can confirm the veracity of a claim or a statement of truth based on data dynamically-retrieved from various data repositories. A server device receives, from a client device, a request to determine the veracity of a claim or a statement of truth. The server device is generally a trusted computing device, having privileged-access to a variety of data repositories that the client device may or may not access. The server device can select one or more data repositories based on the claim, obtain results data from the selected one or more data repositories, and evaluate each result to determine whether it corresponds to or contradicts the claim. A veracity score can be calculated for the claim or for a result that corresponds to or contradicts the claim. The server device can generate an attestation notification that includes the claim or the result for communication to the requesting client device. In this way, the client device can utilize the proof and attestation service, facilitated via the server device, to determine a claim’s veracity or its calculated likelihood of being true.
Claims recite a computer-readable medium for providing proof and attestation services for a user’s claim verification which is directed towards an abstract idea. The judicial exception is not integrated into practical application beyond performing generic computer functions that amount to no more than instructions to apply the judicial exception using generic computing components. There is no technological problem the invention solves and the additional elements do not impose any meaningful limits on the abstract idea.
In many cases, a software-only implementation is preferred for flexibility and lower cost. This, therefore, shows that software or logic by itself can affect improvements to technology regardless of the hardware that it runs on. Applicant submits that the claimed invention improves on the functionality of existing technologies. The claims demonstrate an improvement in existing data aggregation technologies that achieve benefits over conventional technologies via new functionality.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROOF OF VIEW VIA BLOCKCHAIN
A Proof of View verification system is disclosed. The Proof of View verification system has a Proof of View verification module, comprising computer-executable code stored in non-volatile memory, and a processor. The Proof of View verification module and the processor are configured to receive a request for a content view to view a piece of content, record a content view data in a database chunk, hash the database chunk into a hashed database chunk, append the hashed database chunk to a block on a blockchain of the Proof of View verification system, and compare the content view data with the block on the blockchain. The blockchain is publicly available.
The claims are directed to an abstract idea of a mental process. Receiving a request for a content view, recording the content, and appending the content view with the block on the blockchain can be done mentally by using the available data and database using generic computer functioning. The additional elements of the claims simply include the logical steps to store content view data using a blockchain structure.
Applicant respectfully submits that the currently amended claims overcome the 35 U.S.C. § 101 rejections. For example, in at least some exemplary embodiments, the combination of the claimed dataflows, the claimed unique ID data, and the claimed proof content view data amounts to significantly more than both an organization of human activity or a mental process that may be performed in the human mind or by a human using a pen and paper. The currently amended claims are therefore patent-eligible because they are not abstract and they also recite “significantly more.”
Systems and Methods For Instant Generation of Human Understandable Audience Insights
This patent claims a method of generating natural language summaries for campaign audiences. Though analyzing the audience feed data to find cluster term frequencies. These keyword terms can be used to generate performance reports of audience groups for the user.
Systems and methods for generating human readable natural language summary for campaign audience are provided. The system includes a memory storing a database including audience segments and tags related to the audience segments. A computer server is in communication with the memory and the database, the computer server programmed to: obtain campaign delivery feed data related to a plurality of campaigns from at least one advertiser in a preset time period; obtain audience feed data including tag information from a data provider; cluster the tag information to find term frequencies for each term in the tag information; identify human understandable terms from the clustered tag information by removing noisy terms; and generate a human understandable report using the human understandable terms in a timely fashion.
The claims are directed to an abstract idea without significantly more. The claims recite identifying keywords associated with an audience segment to create a performance report which is directed to advertising and marketing and does not integrate the judicial exception into a practical application. The additional elements of the claimed invention require no more than generic computer components to perform generic computing functions.
The claims do not recite a judicial exception. The claims further integrate any alleged judicial exception into practical application. The claims provide for a more dynamic and accurate method for integrating intelligence from data providers into a human-readable audience summary. The additional elements of the claims are not capable of being operated using generic computers.
