Founders Legal is excited to welcome Melanie Lane to the team! Melanie joined as an Associate Attorney, enriching our Trademark and Litigation teams.
Melanie earned her Juris Doctorate in 2022 from Pepperdine University’s renowned Caruso School of Law. At Pepperdine, Melanie’s academic excellence garnered her the CALI Award, distinguishing her as the top student in both International Business Transactions and International Commercial Arbitration courses. Melanie is a proud alumna of the University of Georgia, where she received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing and a Certificate in Legal Studies.
Melanie’s love for the law is matched by her commitment to her community. An active member of her local church, Peachtree Christian Church, she serves as the Treasurer of her chapter of the church’s Christian Women’s Fellowship group, volunteers with the youth group, and holds the position of deacon. In a significant stride in her legal career, Melanie was recently admitted to practice in the highest court in Georgia. She was sworn in at the Bar of the Supreme Court of Georgia on Tuesday, June 20th, 2023, amidst the supportive presence of her colleagues, Zach Eyster and Kennington Groff.
